The most highly modifiable S4 to date, this generation has a 2.7 liter V6 configuration twin turbo power plant.

In Europe the S4 was around before the US got them and it was only when the S4 received a face lift did the US first see the S4. The US S4 rear bumper is some what different to the European spec S4 due to safety regulations which meant to save cost Audi used the US rear bumper from the US spec A4 bumper with the lower section smoothed off and colour coded to make it different from the A4.
